Isaiah 43:2-4

² I will be with you^(A)
when you pass through the waters,^(B)
and when you pass through the rivers,
they will not overwhelm you.
You will not be scorched
when you walk through the fire,^(C)
and the flame will not burn you.
³ For I Yahweh your God,^(D)
the Holy One of Israel, and your Savior,^(E)
give Egypt as a ransom for you,
Cush and Seba in your place.
⁴ Because you are precious in My sight^(F)
and honored, and I love you,^(G)
I will give people in exchange for you
and nations instead of your life.
